Higher income from whole paprika exports until June

 

Peruvian whole paprika exports between January and June 2023 increased both in volume and value, if compared to the same lapse in 2022, according to a recent report by Agrodata Perú.

During the first 6 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 16.434.230 kilos of the product, worth $72.209.117.

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 16.024.830 kilos of paprika, for a total value of $53.377.822.

The main recipients until June 2023 were Mexico (55% of total value) and the United States (37%), followed by Spain (4%), Guatemala (2%), and others.
