United States as the main recipient of Peruvian pea exports

 

Between January and May 2023, fresh peas exports from Peru decreased both in volume and value, if compared to the same term in 2022.

According to Agrodata Perú, during the first 5 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 434.433 kilos of the product, priced at $1.520.608.

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 500.505 kilos of peas, for a total value of $1.716.326.

The main destinations until May 2023 were the United States (44% of total value), the United Kingdom (41%), and the Netherlands (12%), among others.
