Printable version
In Europe, Poland is one of the largest blueberry producers, with a production of around 55,000 tons. The volume exported exceeds 20,000 tonnes, with Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden the main destinations.

According to Polish media reports, last June, during a visit to Poland by the head of China's General Administration of Customs, a phytosanitary protocol was signed concerning the export of fresh blueberries from Poland to China. A few days later, GACC, the Chinese customs office, announced that imports of fresh Polish blueberries into China were authorized subject to compliance with phytosanitary requirements.

Poland has more than 12,000 hectares of blueberry cultivation, with production of around 55,000 tonnes and exports of over 20,000 tonnes. In addition to its traditional markets, Poland has expanded its exports to Asian markets, successfully exporting blueberries to Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
