Printable version
In Gaza, the agriculture ministry announced that Israeli fruit imports are ceasing following Israel's decision to ban the export of vegetables from Gaza to the West Bank and overseas.

According to the Hamas-led agriculture ministry in Gaza, Israel has banned the export of 15 different types of agricultural products, mainly tomatoes and cucumbers from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank and abroad.

Last month, serious clashes broke out between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. For about 11 days, which was the longest period of conflict since 2014. The crossing point between Gaza and Israel was completely closed for several weeks. Only medical equipment and humanitarian aid have just been authorized to cross this single crossing point. A ceasefire negotiated by Egypt between the two parties came into effect on May 21.
