Local fresh produce for Qatar Airways

 

This agreement between Qatar Airways and QADCO, with an initial lenght of 2 years, demonstrates the airline's commitment to contribute to the country's self-sufficiency goals. QADCO will provide fresh fruits and vegetables that will be served on Qatar Airways flights from Doha and in the Business and First Class lounges at Doha Hamad Airport.


QADCO is the agricultural branch of Specialized International Services (SIS). The company is one of Qatar's largest fruit and vegetable producers, managing several farms that cover nearly 800 hectares and produce about 90 kinds of fruits and vegetables. The company also has its own packaging site.
