Between January and July 2023, Peruvian onion exports showed a slight increase, if compared to the same lapse in 2022, according to Agrodata Perú.
During the first 7 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 87.722.558 kilos of the product, worth $30.534.669.
In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 85.295.906 kilos of onion, for a total value of $26.429.548.
The main recipients until July 2023 were the United States (50%), Spain (26%), and Colombia (18%), among others.
