.Fruits: the value of exports reached KES 38.67 billion (USD 297.9 million), or +4.19% compared to 2021

.Vegetables: the value of exports reached KES 27.34 billion (USD 210.6 million), almost -25% compared to 2021.

This decline in income is due to high inflation in Europe (EU, United Kingdom) where consumer purchasing power is lower. European markets are the main destinations for Kenyan cut flowers, fruits and vegetables.
