The upward trend continues for Cameroon's banana exports

The volume of bananas exported by Cameroon in November 2022 is higher (+4.59%) than the volume exported the previous month.
 
According to ASSOBACAM (Cameroon Banana Association) data, in November 2022 the country exported 18,574 tons of bananas. That is, compared to the previous month, 17,930 tonnes were exported, an increase of +4.59%.
 
For the period of the first 11 months of 2022 the total volume exported amounts to 191,640 tons of bananas. That is, compared to the same period of 2021 which had recorded 178,003 tonnes exported, an increase of +7.66%.
 
Over the whole of 2021, Cameroon exported 198,634 tonnes of bananas, which were mainly intended for the European Union market.
