Tomato exports increased by +17% in volume

Good performances accumulate for Moroccan exports of fruits and vegetables. After the record volume recorded for citrus fruits, exports of market garden products and especially tomatoes also recorded good performances.
According to a press release published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, over the period up to June 13, 2022 Morocco exported 1,418,600 tonnes of market garden products, i.e. +11% compared to the same period of the year. last.
 
 
The tomato maintains its position as the flagship product with 608,600 tonnes exported, or approximately +17% compared to the 521,800 tonnes exported in the same period last year.
