Fruit Attraction 2023 was a huge success

This 2023 edition, which celebrated Fruit Attraction's 15th anniversary, ended with the best attendance figures in the show's history.
 
The show, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, was attended by 2,000 exhibitors from 56 countries, with a record 64,000 square meters of floor space in 9 halls. In terms of visitors, Fruit Attraction 2023 welcomed 103,868 professionals from 145 countries, up 16% on the previous edition.
 
The fresh produce zone, the exhibition space for fruit and vegetable producers and retailers, was once again the largest segment, accounting for 70% of the show, +14% on last year. The Related Industries Zone posted +25%, with Biotech Attraction +5%, and Smart Agro +20%. The Fresh Food Logistics Zone recorded +31%.
 
The international segment accounted for 40%, with 56 countries participating. On this occasion, 17 new markets joined the event, including Austria, Denmark, Cyprus and Bulgaria, reinforcing Europe's strong presence.
 
One of the aspects most appreciated by participants was the quality and professionalism demonstrated by international visitors, whose numbers increased by over 26%, representing 45% of the total number of participants. Once again this year, the largest number of visitors came from Europe, notably Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, the UK and Germany. 
 
Latin America was the fastest-growing region, with countries such as Chile, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina. South Africa, the United States and Egypt, among others, also had a strong presence at the show.
 
 
 
The next Fruit Attraction will be held from October 8 to 10, 2024.
