Peruvian Sutil lemon exports on a downward trend

Peruvian Sutil lemon exports between January and June 2023 decreased both in volume and value, if compared to the same lapse in 2022.

 

The latest report by Agrodata Perú indicates that during the first 6 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 1.306.585 kilos of the fruit, worth $1.074.333.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 1.808.916 kilos of Sutil lemons, for a total value of $1.464.016.

 

The main recipients until June 2023 were Chile, with sales of $695.547.000 (65% of total value) and Panama, $378.405.000 (35%). Exports to the Netherlands generated income of only $350.000.
