Increase in Peruvian avocado exports until June

Between January and June 2023, Peruvian avocado exports increased both in volume and value, if compared to the same lapse in 2022, according to a recent report by Agrodata Perú.

 

During the first 6 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 412.535.613 kilos of the fruit, priced at $687.058.200.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 329.228.127 kilos of avocados, for a total value of $573.134.007.

 

The main recipients until June 2023 were the Netherlands ($230.686.000), Spain ($123.343.000), Chile ($71.221.000), the United States ($68.471.000), and China ($53.879.000), among other countries.
