Income from blueberry exports exceeds $162 million until June

Between January and June 2023, fresh blueberry exports from Peru increased both in volume and value, if compared to the same term in 2022.

 

According to Agrodata Perú, during the first 6 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 34.048.270 kilos of the berry, priced at $162.132.457.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 23.351.405 kilos of blueberries, for a total value of $124.038.605.

 

The main destinations until June 2023 were the United States (55% of total value), the Netherlands (21%), the United Kingdom (8%), and China (7%), among others.
