TOMRA Fresh Food welcomes new Head of Sales

TOMRA Food has appointed Peter Lamb as Vice President, Head of Sales for TOMRA Fresh Food, a provider of comprehensive solutions for fresh produce. With an international experience in executive roles across manufacturing and commercial sectors, Peter brings valuable expertise to his new position. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Packaging Products Company, catering to the food, beverage, and dairy industries across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Before that, Peter held the position of Managing Director in the Asia Pacific region for DS Smith, a renowned British multinational packaging business known for its commitment to sustainability.

Lamb has recently relocated from Saudi Arabia to his homeland of New Zealand in order to assume his new responsibilities in TOMRA Fresh Food's main office in Auckland.

Paul Slupecki, Senior Vice President and Head of TOMRA Fresh Food, said that since TOMRA Food reorganized into the TOMRA Fresh Food and TOMRA Processed Food business areas two years ago, they have continuously sought ways to improve their customer support. "Peter's arrival marks another significant stride in that direction." he stated.

In his new role, Peter will focus on identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities for TOMRA. Moreover, he will assist customers in optimizing their operations by leveraging the company's cutting-edge sorting, grading, peeling, analytical, and packing technologies.
