AgroFest to be held on July 6-8

On July 6-8, the Association of Agricultural Producers Guilds of Peru (AGAP) organizes the second edition of "AgroFest 2023". This event serves as a gathering for modern agriculture in Peru.

AgroFest 2023 will be hosted at Legado - Sede Videna, located in the district of San Luis (Lima). Specialists from both the national and international agricultural chain will offer conferences, plenary sessions, and discussion panels, for analyzing the opportunities and challenges within the agricultural field.

Experts will explore various topics during the event, including growth and maintenance of international markets, innovation, development, and research in agriculture, the impact of the agribusiness value chain on development, as well as the recovery of competitiveness in the Peruvian agricultural sector.

Additional themes that will be addressed include organic and sustainable agriculture, the influence of weather phenomena on agriculture, the sector's impact on formal employment generation and food security, technology and innovation in agriculture, and the path to development.

AGROFEST 2023 will bring together large, medium, and small-scale producers, authorities, specialists, and buyers. 

Moreover, representatives from organizations such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Global G.A.P, the National Agrarian Health Service of Peru (Senasa), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will deliver presentations.
