Income from Peruvian avocado exports exceeds $505 million until May

Between January and May 2023, avocado exports from Peru increased both in volume and value, if compared to the same term in 2022, informs Agrodata Perú.

 

During the first 5 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 291.678.930 kilos of said fruit worth $505.504.073.

 

In the same lapse of 2022, Peru shipped 217.801.993 kilos of avocados worth $394.403.293.

 

The main destinations through May 2023 were the Netherlands ($183.162.000), Spain ($99.314.000), Chile ($45.053.000), China ($44.705.000), the United Kingdom ($38.010.000), and the United States ($29.331.000), among others.
