Decline in Peruvian Sutil lemon exports

Between January and May 2023, Sutil lemon exports from Peru declined both in volume and value, if compared to the same term in 2022. 

 

Until May of the ongoing year, the country exported 1.145.251 kilos of said fruit worth $946.446, according to Agrodata Perú.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 1.590.640 kilos of Sutil lemon for $1.296.813.

 

The main destinations through May 2023 were Chile (64% of total value), Panama (36%) and others.
