Peruvian cherimoya exports surpass 176 thousand tons until March

Peruvian cherimoya exports between January and March 2023 reached 176.2 tons, according to local media.

Heber Chávez, a market analyst, specified that these shipments were destined for five countries, with Chile, emerging as the dominant market, accounting for 97.4% of the total exports, followed by the United States (2.2%). The remaining countries only made up 0.4% of the share.

96.2% of these exports were in frozen presentation, followed by cubed cherimoya (2.8%), and the other product presentations comprised the remaining 1%.
