Rise in strawberry exports from Peru

Between January and March 2023, the strawberry exports from Peru rose both in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022. 

 

Until March 2023, the country exported 9.106.802 kilos of the berry worth $14.882.905, according to Agrodata Perú.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 7.125.868 kilos of strawberry for $13.717.892.

 

The main destination to date remains the United States (36% of total value), followed by Canada (31%), Guatemala (13%), Mexico (7%), Korea (5%), Japan (3%), and others.
