Pomegranate exports by Peru surpass $51 million through March

The pomegranate exports from Peru in the first 3 months of 2023 declined both in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022. 

 

From January through March 2023, the country exported 24.367.745 kilos of the fruit worth $51.131.987, according to Agrodata Perú.

 

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 28.467.708 kilos of pomegranate for $55.145.447.

 

In the first three months of 2023, the main destination for said supplies was the Netherlands (58% of total value), followed by the United States (13%), the United Kingdom (5%), and others.
