Iran highly ranked in several world rankings

According to data from FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Iran was among the top agricultural exporting countries in 2021:
 
.Figs: Iran was the world's leading exporter of figs in 2021 with 8,763 tonnes, ahead of Austria and Spain
 
.Pistachios: Iran was the world's second largest exporter of pistachios behind the United States, with 136,000 tonnes exported
 
.Dates: Iran was the 4th world exporter of dates with 245,000 tons, behind Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates
 
.Cucumbers: Iran was the world's 5th largest exporter with 166,000 tons, far behind Mexico which is the 1st in the ranking with 840,000 tons exported.
 
.Kiwis: Iran is the 6th world exporter with 69,000 tonnes,
 
.Iran is also the 2nd largest exporter of raisins and eggplants, and the 3rd largest exporter of watermelons and currants.
 
 
Regarding production, according to the FAO, Iran is the 3rd largest producer in the world of dates, honey, pistachios and nuts; the 4th largest producer in the world of almonds and watermelons; the 5th largest producer of kiwifruit in the world. The country ranks 6th in the production of eggplant, 7th in the production of onions and tomatoes, 8th in the production of spinach, 9th in the production of oranges, 11th in the production of grapes and 19th in the production pears and tomatoes.
