Egyptian exports grew by + 15% in volume

Satisfactory start to the year for agricultural exports, the volume of which increased by + 15% for the period from January 1 to June 29, 2021 compared to the same period in 2020.
 
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, for the period from January 1 to June 29, agricultural exports reached a volume of 4.0179 million tons. That is an increase of + 15% compared to the same period last year.
 
For this period, the most important agricultural exports included citrus fruits (1,722,115 tons), potatoes (619,762 tons), onions (151,471 tons), grapes (151,471 tons), beans (19 568 tons), strawberries (19,342 tons), garlic (16,429 tons), peach (10,185 tons), guava (8,935 tons), watermelon (7,310 tons), pomegranate (6,538 tonnes), peppers (5,186 tonnes), mango (768 tonnes).
