After the visit of an Egyptian delegation to Japan, it is now the turn of a Japanese delegation to visit Egypt before the opening of the Egyptian Egyptian citrus market.

 

 

 

In Egypt, the Central Department of Agricultural Quarantine, announced the visit of the Japanese agricultural quarantine authorities delegation before the opening of the Japanese market to Egyptian citrus exports.

 

 

 

The delegation will visit a number of production sites, sorting and packing stations. The visit of the Japanese delegation follows the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Japan, which ensured Egyptian citrus fruit access the Japanese market.

 

 

 

Citrus fruits are with potatoes the most exported products from Egypt. In December 2018, Egypt exported 1.7 million tonnes of citrus fruit and 800,000 tonnes of potatoes.
