For the 1st quarter of 2019 Morocco is still Spain's leading supplier of fruit & vegetables, with a volume of 137,760 tons.

 

 

 

According to FEPEX, between January and March 2019 Spain received 137,760 tons of Fruits & Vegetables from Morocco, 4% more than during the same period of 2018.

 

 

 

This volume of Moroccan fruits and vegetables imported during the first quarter is the largest of the last 5 years. In 2015 this volume was 70,420 tonnes and this year 137,670 tonnes, an increase of 95.5%.

 

 

 

With regard to Spain's imports of fruit and vegetables from EU countries, France was the leading supplier in the first quarter of 2019 with 295,565 tonnes.
